How to complete this stage at BCHC

If you have previously applied or are thinking of applying for funding, please let the R&I team know by completing our questionnaire here:

  1. Research funding can pay for many aspects of research such as staff, equipment, software, and participant expenses
  2. There are many sources of funding. This could be anything from internal R&I funds and BCHC charitable funds or external charities funding research all the way to NIHR funded research or commercial organisations sponsoring research
  3. Research funding is competitive. So do not be disappointed if your application fails, keep improving on your proposal and keep searching for the right call from the right funder to support your research
  4. Collaborative working with finance and governance teams is needed to manage funding once successful. Processes need to be agreed and set up for management of the research before the start of the project.
  5. Research connect (https://www.myresearchconnect.com/) is a tool to help search, the R&D team can either provide access or search this database for you. Use the “Funding Questionnaire” link above to submit your request to us and we will help you.
